Mark with his wife Carla Steiger and daughter Rachel Steiger-Meister.

Dear Readers,

We are delighted to announce that upon his retirement as President and CEO of the Dayton Society of Natural History where he oversaw the Boonshoft Museum, Sunwatch, and Fort Ancient, Mark Meister was appointed Executive Director of the Dayton Literary Peace Prize Foundation. Mark has been a member of the DLPP Board of Trustees since its inception and has volunteered as the Co-chair of DLPP since its early years. He has handled the financial details of the organization and will continue in that role in addition to overseeing the organizational aspects of DLPP. The remaining members of the Board of Trustees and the Advisory Council will continue with their amazing work as volunteers. I will continue in my role as Founder and Chair of the DLPP and will be able to devote additional time to the organization as Mark and I shepherd its growth. Please join us in congratulating Mark on his expanded role with the Dayton Literary Peace Prize.
